2019-20 Group Training

Goalie Army Academy’s group goalie training sessions offer plenty of game situation exercises, goalie-specific power skating, and special offers for teams and associations for the 2019-20 hockey season.

Session Format

Each group goalie training session will feature shooting exercises with shooters which challenge and engage participants, demonstrations and drill explanations, goalie-specific power skating, as well as plenty of individual attention from coaching staff which will provide participants with positive feedback, theory discussion, and technical corrections.

When & Where

Starting on October 14th, 2019, Goalie Army Academy’s group goalie training sessions at the Minto Skating Centre will be open to all minor hockey goaltenders.  Sessions are held on Monday evenings through March 2020 with Novice and Atom groups at 7:15 PM, and Peewee, Bantam, and Midget goaltenders at 8:15 PM.

Pricing & Special Offer

Individual Participant

Pricing for 5-session packages is $325 + HST ($367.25).

Teams & Associations

When 2 goalies from the same team are signed up for a 5-session package each, the rate is discounted by $10 per goalie, per session.  Therefore, 5 sessions for both goalies = $550 + HST ($621.50).  Essentially, +$100 in savings are up for grabs for teams to have their goalies train with us this season!

To qualify for the discounted rate, both goalies must be signed up for the same sessions.

Registration

To register for our group goalie training program, simply send an email to Contact@GAAhockey.com and we’ll supply you with the applicable registration and waiver forms.

Session Selection

Selecting sessions is as simple as sending an email to us to reserve a space within the program, and we’ll send an email to confirm that space is available.  Make sure to reserve a space early to avoid disappointment.

Payment

Once we receive the completed and signed registration, payments for packages of group goalie training sessions can be made via cheque or email money transfer.  Payments must be made in full, including HST, prior to each student’s first session.

Cheque Payments

Cheques made payable to Goalie Army Academy are due in advance of the first session and can be submitted at the first reserved session of the training package, or sent by mail to 49 Woodpark Way  Ottawa, ON K2J 4C6.  Cheques should list the child’s full name and if applicable, the associated invoice number provided by Goalie Army Academy.

Email Money Transfer Payments

Email Money transfers should be sent to Contact@GAAhockey.com in advance of the first session.  Please memo the email money transfer with the registrant’s full name and if applicable, the associated invoice number provided by Goalie Army Academy.

Re-Scheduling and Cancellation Policy

Goalie Army Academy understands that illnesses, last minute schedule changes, family emergencies, and the weather can affect a student’s ability to attend their scheduled sessions.  However, cancelled sessions within 48 hours of session start times, or no-shows for scheduled training sessions may result in the loss of and inability to make up the training session.  Requests for changes to scheduled training sessions more than 48 hours prior to training start times will be accommodated.

Goalie Army Academy reserves the right to review alternative training session options on a case by case basis in the event of requests for rescheduling within 48 hours of training start times.
