Goalie Training for Parents & Coaches
Goalie Army Academy is pleased to offer our goalie training services from our goalie school’s teachings to goalie parents, team coaches, and association representatives who are looking to advance their understanding of the goaltender’s position.
When & Where
On Sunday, November 22nd, parents of the goaltenders we are working with, association representatives, and team coaches which we partner with are welcome to attend this FREE on-ice theory goalie training session at the Minto Skating Centre at 12:00 PM.
Looking to attend? RSVP by sending us an email.
What You’ll Learn
By supplying this on-ice goalie training session, we’ll be promoting the need for efficiency within the crease by discussing the need for the application of Goalie Army Academy’s R3E System, as well as enhancing the understanding of the position through an application of theory discussions based on game situations which goaltenders face regularly.
In addition to the above, we will also be working with team coaches to provide them with methods of incorporating their goaltenders into their practice plans which will help their development within their position.
Please note that this is a private event open only to parents of goaltenders which Goalie Army Academy is currently training, and the associations and team coaches which we are already supplying goalie training to throughout the 2015-16 hockey season in order to keep the lines of communication open as well as consistency of goalie training between coaches and parents.
Safety First
Helmets are highly recommended for those who choose to attend this on-ice goalie training session. Although no hard shots will occur during this theory session, attendees are entering the ice surface at their own risk. Therefore, neither Goalie Army Academy nor its organizers will be held responsible or liable for any injury which may occur from attending this session.
